Evelyn Byram, L.Ac.

Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist

Born and raised in Switzerland, Evelyn came to California to pursue her interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Her training and experience combines acupuncture with the use of Chinese herbs, nutrition and life style counseling. She has been practicing this art for over 12 years, receiving her Masters of Science in TCM from the Academy of Chinese Cultures and Health Science in Oakland, CA in 1996.

She offers a holistic approach to the treatment of many different types of ailments, including conditions like colds and flus, allergies, digestive complaints, depression and anxiety.  Acupuncture and herbs are also very effective at treating pain and muscular tightness. For the past decade Evelyn has developed a specialty in women's health and fertility. TCM helps restore hormonal balance and increase fertility, treat habitual miscarriage, menstrual irregularities, PMS, menopausal issues, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and endometriosis. It can support a healthy pregnancy, help turn breech babies, prepare  for labor and  soothe and nourish a new mom postpartum.

Residing in Encinitas, CA with her husband and their two daughters, Evelyn's greatest pleasure, apart from promoting health and healing through her belief in TCM, is spending time with her family, working in her garden, and pursuing her love of art.
